European Codes of Conduct for Direct Selling

A strict European Codes of Conduct for direct selling was adopted in 1995 and then amended in 1999, 2000, 2004, 2011 and 2015. The Code sets the highest standards of ethics for direct selling companies and it is a result of the direct selling industry’s continuous commitment to ethical business and consumer protection practices, as well as its determination to ensure equal and consistent ethical standards throughout the European Union.

Members of Seldia, represent directly and indirectly around 80% of the EU Direct Selling market. Companies that are members of a Seldia member association, are bound by the European Code throughout Europe, independent of whether they are a member of a local DSA in other EU markets. Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association, is the body responsible for a good application of the rules of its codes and to ensure a good protection of the direct selling consumers, this is why you can always come to us.
